It's Not About What You Have Done, But About Who You Are

It is not about what you do or what you have done, but rather who God says you are. Wouldn’t you agree that status, title, achievements and popularity are defining our worth? It might be a little hard to swallow, because so many of us spend our lives “working” towards these. Not to give to much attention to satan, but I believe that this is and has been a scheme of his for a very long time. No more. I believe that ANYTHING that draws our eyes and heart away from the Father is not good and those “things” can look good/great a lot of the time. Anything that draws our eyes and heart away from WHO God says we are is not healthy. Our worth is not in the things of this world, our eyes should be on the ONE, His love for us, His will for us, Who He says we are. It’s time for us to stop worrying about our achievements, titles, how others view us and start claiming and walking as Sons and Daughters of the Almighty God! No one else will satisfy. Hear me on this... success, favor and promotion are not bad, it’s bad when that’s where we find our worth and identity. Good? Okay. So...Who does your Heavenly Father say you are? The beautiful thing is that our God has no scope for sin, He has no scope for our mistakes... He only sees the best in and of us, He sees our highlight reel and He KNOWS us by who He calls us. Again I want to ask... What does the Father say about you? A great place to start is the Bible, it is filled with truth of who you are in Gods eyes. “Yet even in the midst of all these things, we triumph over them all, for God has made us to be more than conquerors, and his demonstrated love is our glorious victory over everything! So now I live with the confidence that there is nothing in the universe with the power to separate us from God’s love. I’m convinced that his love will triumph over death, life’s troubles, fallen angels, or dark rulers in the heavens. There is nothing in our present or future circumstances that can weaken his love.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:37-38‬ ‭TPT‬ . Let’s start living from the place of truth in HIM and let’s encourage each other with those truths daily.
